can i make double sided reports in access? help file doesn't pertain to anything remotely relevant, if it isbn't possible il know to stop trying/rsearching for a solution
cheers, i need to prodcue a school report with name on the one side and detail on the other to fold into an a5 gatefold. can i link two reports together like this?
If you had a duplex printer then you could do this with page breaks, provided you were 100% certain that the detail would not go onto a second page, otherwise it is going to be a real mess. In your report design, have a look at the sorting and grouping - you can force page breaks after / before new groups.
If your printer does not support automatic duplexing, then you need to do *manual* duplexing, i.e. print one side of the report and feed the paper back into the printer to print the second half onto the other side of the paper. This would entail two separate reports - but you would have to make sure the detail on one side matched the name on the other.
