Hi there,

Sorry to ask such a stupid question but does anyone know how to change the print settings to print on both sides in MS Word?

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
File | Print | Properties
Go to the Layout tab
There should be an option for Duplex printing

If there is not, then probably your printer doesn't have the option to print duplex, or you do not have the correct print driver installed to allow duplex printing.

thanks - looks like it's a problem with the driver then.

However, there is one strange thing, some documents I printed did print out on two sides. I presume this is because they were set up to do so by whoever wrote them - is there a way I can do this? I do have access to another printer which prints on two sides but it is not colour.

I forgot to ask what version of Word you are using. The duplex option might be slightly different to get to in different versions. I am using Word 2000.

I am using '97.

I can get the options you describe when I connect to the Black and White printer though.
