Hi,

I am not sure whether this has been covered anywhere else but here's my query.

I am trying to make a table in which change a list’s values based on what is selected in another list.

For example:

Row A2:A100 has all the employee names (these are unique values) and B2:B100 has names of all the team leader. There are only 10 team leaders so each team leader will have multiple enteries in B2:B100.

What I am looking for is in C2 to create a data validation where the drop down list will show the names of the 10 Team leaders. And in D2 i want a data validation list with names of the team members(employees) who are under the team leader selected in C2.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Have you thought about pivot table? In my opinion pivot table is exactly what you need. :) Look at this printcreen:

Hi MadforGolf,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried what from that post and something seems to be wrong. It just does'nt seem to work. Based on the in team leader selected in Cell C sheet 1, I want the list of the agents who are corresponding to them only in data sheet.

Here is the link to the excel file for your ref.
