Someone has told me that you are able to add the remainder of a percent by double clicking a cell but that someone forgot how to do so.
For example, say you have a column with the following numbers
30%
20%
10%
0%
10%
You want the 5 boxes to add up to 100%. I heard that there is a trick, where if you just double-click on the 0%, it will automatically change to the remaining %. So in this case, when double clicking the 0%, it will change to 30% (100% - 30% - 20% - 10% - 10%). In Excel 2010, I want the zero percent to stay there, and it isn't until i key word, "double click", that it will change to the remaining percent needed to make 100%.
How do you do this trick?
