Hi,
Why is it that unless I double-click the cell, it will not change to a date value, but as soon as I double-click the cell and hit ENTER, it will change to a date value and trigger the next column's formula. I would want a solution to do it in one shot for the entire column. Thank you for your help.

You'll need to be more specific.

What cell are you double clicking ?
What cell should change after you double click ?
Where is your code that you are using ?

Hi,
here is a better screen shot that shows in column M i am trying it should be a date value in order to trigger column N's formula. The cells in column N that you see the values at the right, these were double clicked

Correction: The cells in column M that you see the values at the right, these were double clicked

What about reformatting Column M so all dates look the same ? The cells that are causing a FALSE statement are not the same format as those returning TRUE.

Note, the spreadsheet was downloaded initially, and i added a column to get the formula showing all dates before and after a specific date. After all values returned "False' I tried reformating M column to DATE and then if clicked in cell it triggered the N column formula to work

OK. Thanks for looking at that.

I am unable to reproduce the error here. The formula works as expected and does not require double-clicking or pressing ENTER.

???

Maybe try rebuilding your workbook from scratch.

I think there may be a misunderstanding. My concern isn’t with the formula itself; it’s actually with the cells in column M, which are difficult to reformat to date values unless I double-click on them. Let’s set the formula aside for a moment. Why are the cells not displaying the correct formatting until I click into them?
