Looks like you may have "Grouping" turned on.
From the "Data" menu, select the "Ungroup" option.

Group: ALT+SHIFT+Right Arrow
UnGroup: ALT+SHIFT+ Left Arrow

Potentially you accidently hit the keys on the keyboard
