Don't count duplicates (conditions)

Sorry if my english is bad. I'm searching for a formula:

Count all item numbers in BF that have:
An A1 in H
Don't count duplicates in BF
Don't count item numbers that start with N in BF (example: N 909 915 02)

Geez. What is "an extra cleavage" and what is its relevance?

Re-cap:

Create a unique count (skip duplicates, that is) for BF when H houses the string "A1" while BF does not start with "N". Is this understanding correct?
