doing more with VBA

Can I say VBA is not meant to do anything new that a user can not do in excel?
I know VBA is used to automate tasks, repeat tasks, create forms, create functions etc. All these things I can do it in excel without needing to use VBA. Can I say that, or VBA meant to do more or new things that users can not do without knowing VBA? Thank you.

No, you cannot say that. You can do a lot with VBA that you cannot do without.

I don't really know what kind of things you ae looking for, your question is a little odd, why are you asking?

Some functions not available if not using VBA:
Userforms
Use of libraries not native to Excel, things like web scraping
Windows APIs

We can write you a script where all you must do is change a cell value and almost anything can happen immediately. Can you do that manually.
