Does The Book - Microsoft 365- Excel - The ONLY APP THAT MATTERS ... mean these books don't matter and are considered obsolete?

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Mike Girvin, the author of EXCEL - THE ONLY APP THAT MATTERS remembers growing up in Oakland California.
When a new punk band came to town, the posters simply said, "The Clash - The Only Band That Matters".
Mike recalled those great posters and we used a book title and cover that pays homage to The Clash and those concert posters from the 1970's.

Because, well, to a lot of people here, we can't imagine having a computer powered on without Microsoft Excel open. For us, Microsoft Excel is "the only app that matters".

Mr Excel, thanks that's an Excel-lent explanation.
The book looks good.🥁🥁🥁
