Does cell have Annotation?

Hi - anyone know a way to determine if a cell has an annotation within the text string?

I've got some data that has annotations and I'd like to highlight the cell if it does include an annotation.

(This source data gets updated each month so manually going through the list is a last resort...)

thanks,

GRC

Hi

Do you mean a comment or a note like this?

=SUM(d1:d10)+N("I can write here")

The following deals with both cases:

Code:
Sub Annot()
Dim c As Range

For Each c In Range("c25:c35").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeFormulas)
    If InStr(c.Formula, "+N(") > 0 Then c.Interior.Color = RGB(190, 95, 45)
Next

For Each c In Range("d25:d35")
    If Not c.Comment Is Nothing Then c.Interior.Color = RGB(222, 111, 44)
Next

End Sub
