In the last days I have notoced that the notification for an added post arrives "hours" after the event.

Are you having similar problem?

Bye.

Yes, it has been happening much more frequently lately.

I believe that they are investigating making some siginifcant changes which should help speed things up, but I don't know how soon those changes may take effect.

Thank you jm,
Let's hope it is a temporary problem...

What I am afraid is that not only mails are delayed but maybe they are not send.
Bye.

From experience, they are usually just delayed, though it could be a considerable delay (hours, maybe up to a day).

What I have been doing in the meantime is this:
Log into Mr.Excel, then go to the "View your posts" section.

This will show you all the threads which you have started/replied to. They are sorted by the time of the last post, so you can easily scan to see if there are any new responses to any of your threads.

"View your post" is a good suggestion, thank you.

Bye.

Is this working now? We've been testing this recently and it is now working on a timely basis for me. :)

Thanks for your attentiveness. Today I'm still running over a hour; as recently as Friday it was several hours(at least 2) and a few days ago it was as bad as 6-15 hours.

I'm trying to test this, Nate. Honestly. The only problem is that it requires someone to respond in my threads, and it just ain't happening for me (at least at the same time I'm monitoring email). It's as though the arrival of the Antichrist causes everyone to flee. Go figure :devilish:

Ah, finally, data. Send time: 11:01 AM CDT (consistent with subscribed thread post). Arrival in inbox: 12:35 PM. Trip time 94 minutes.
