If I click on the Preview button, I am put in some sort of read only mode in which I cannot edit or add anything. It took me a few minutes to figure out that I need to click the Preview button again to get back to edit mode. Would it not make sense to change the Preview button to something else, like Un-Preview or Edit or Continue?

Right, it is the "Preview" mode.

Yes, they really made it self-descriptive. It is a simple toggle button that disables the editor and toolbar buttons that indicates the editor is not active.

It is a third party commercial editor used in the forum software that we have no programmatic interaction with.
Also, this version is much more efficient than the previous version that rendered the preview below the text box that was requiring scrolling to actually see the preview.

So, there is no planned modification for the editor preview button or its functionality.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks. I guess I'll just quote tRump: "It is what it is".
