Do the 4,000+ Emails I was Given Exist? Help Appreciated

Hi All,

So, I have a list of 4,000+ emails in excel (just finished scrubbing them) and I need to verify that the emails are existent. As in, Joeblow@gmail.com is an actual email address.

Scoured the net for a ways to do this, in an automated fashion ofcourse, but have yet to come across a resolution. Thoughts?

Yes I have. However, I do not know how to automate that process for 4,00+emails. Any tips?

I might have gone too deep. Do you want to check if the address is valid (it really does exist) or if the address is plausible (the domain and syntax are both correct)

again I wouldn't use excel for this but terminal (mac or PC).

I saw that. I think what Rorya meant is that it's not accurate. They have websites and paid services for email validation (verifying an email address exists).

I found this website, http://my-addr.com/free-email-verif...ddress/reverse-email-lookup/verify_email.php/, and I would like to know if it would be possible to create a macro to automate the process.
