Hi I need help on below so let's say value in cell a1 is 350 b1 is 0 the below formula in c3

=(a1-b1) /b1

I keep receiving #div/0¡ error,

Question is how to remove div error

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
anything divided by 0 is an error

what do you want to be returned ?

=IFERROR((a1-b1) /b1,"")

this returns a blank cell
but you could have a zero

=IFERROR((a1-b1) /b1,0)
