Hello, first time user here. I have to roughly forecast the timephasing of a revenue value, lets say $10M over what could be 9 months, or 12 months, or 24 months, etc.... What i am looking for help on is finding, or creating, a workbook that will show me graphically, various curve options to choose from, let me select one of those curves (ie front end loaded, back end loaded, bell shaped, etc...) and then give me the tabular distribution over a period of time ranging from say three months, to say 36 months. So that if i think my revenue will be recognized in a back end loaded fashion, i select the appropriate graph, i'm taken to that graphs workbook tab in which the distribution data is tabular, and each row on that tab reflects the appropriate distribution for the quantity of periods that i am interested in, summing to 100% obviously. The tabular tabs would start out with data in the first three columns for three periods/months, the next row would have data in the first four columns, reflecting four periods/months, etc... up to a row that had say 36 columns worth of data reflecting a probability distribution over 36 periods/months. Appreciate any insight or recommendations. I had access to this exact workbook with a previous employer and took i for granted. now i could really use something like this.
