Actually I am working on a model of charging load of electric vehicle. I am attaching a link to an excel workbook for your better understanding.
Column B contains random time values, these time values can vary in number and depend on total number of cars. So e.g. total number of cars are 40 and if I am taking 10% EV penetration then 4 time values will be there on which 4 cars are plugged in. similarly 8 cars and 8 time values if I select 20% etc. I will have different table for different penetration level. i.e. 10 tables from 10-100%.
Column G to P represents houses and each house can have 1 car. So the time values need to be distributed in the columns. Now when a car is plugged in, its load stays for 8,3 or 2 cells depending on the charger capacity we are using, in example file I use 11 kW so the car load will stay for 3 cells . (I should be able to change the charging capacity)
I want excel to randomly distribute these cars e.g. 4 cars to 4 houses and leave others blank. Can you please help me with the formulas to achieve this result.
