Hey guys...

How do you compute the total distance traveled by two drivers if you have the trip distance as well as the the rate per km:)

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
does each driver submit a trip distance

or does second driver take over lorry after say 150 miles and second driver is paid 50% more than the first driver ?

Each driver submits a trip disatance..say 1st driver Bmw 100kms, 2nd one benz 150kms. The rates 1st driver 15 per km and 2nd one 15.50 per km

You started by asking "how do you compute the total distance traveled" and are now giving us the distances and maybe asking for total cost? Given that, your ultimate question is not very clear making this sound like a homework assignment to me.

first driver 100*15
second driver 150*15.50

just add the two totals to get total cost - if that is the question

maybe put entire question on here and we can tell you the approach to take

Have to agree with Rick Rothstein.
Sounds like the sort trick questions some of my teachers used to hand out.
