Distance Time Graphs

Hi there,

I need to plot the following data - as a distance vs time graph....but can't seem to get the right graph...any help would be appreciated

Distane 0 12 12 34 34 48 48 65
Time 11:00 11:15 11:30 12:00 12:15 12:45 13:00 14:00

Hi Smokey,

Before I started I put the data the other way. That is, time on top and distance underneath.

Select data. Insert chart, XY scatter. I pick the last option - to have lines joining the points.

Zero on x axis. Adjust X axis to suit start time of 11:00 by right clicking on axis & going to format axis, "scale" tab, minimum 0.458333 - because 11:00 after dividing by 24 => decimal 0.458333.
