hey all!
I'm no mathematical genius, which I think is the problem.
I've got a financial calculation spreadsheet, which compares costs involved in 'finalising' a loan, based on different payout methodologies.
I have 'fixed fee', then Rule of 78, with a few variances, but now I need one based on 'discount cash flow method'
From googleing, all I can find is DCF relative to investments
, not the other way around.
So I have my loan amortised
MONTH....PAYMENT....BALANCE PAYABLE....ro78 PAYOUT....FIXED FEE PAYOUT....DCF PAYOUT
...1.........576................30,000.......................32000..............30695...................???......
ETC.
Can anybody please make my brain work re this?
appreciate your help
