Disappearing / reappearing cells

I'm using Excel '07, and working in a fairly large workbook (8 tabs, 21 col x 181 rows, many of which are formulas). Sometimes, when I'm scrolling through the data, cells with information in them will simply display as blank.

When something is off the screen - even half of a cell that is off the screen - when I scroll towards that cell, the half that was off the screen disappears, and displays as blank.

This seems to happen more often when I'm using my mouse's scroll wheel, and/or if the auto-complete pop-up window is up.

Is this a known problem with a known fix? (I'm happy to provide more information upon request.)

Thanks,
~Jacob~
