disable the preview?

Is there a way to disable the "tool tip" preview that opens whenever I hover over a discussion topic? It's slowly driving me insane. :ROFLMAO:

Could be wrong but I think this is a board setting that can only be changed by the Admins and would apply to all users.
 
I find it very helpful finding posts I might be interested in answering. Sometimes useful too when the title is non-descript.
 
Log out and I beleive this bonus feature will not be available as a guest.
