Disable 'object is locked' message when closing form w/chart

I added a chart to a form and now when I go to design view or close the form I get the following message:

The object is locked, so any changes you make will be discarded when the form is closed. Click Save As/Export on the file menu and save the object under a different name. OK

Is there a way to disable this?

In the future, if anyone has this same problem, I found the answer at the MS support site.
