I need help with a macro that will disable the entire CLEAR menu in a worksheet. The menu consists of CLEAR/All/Formats/Contents/Comments.

Thanks,
Skooter

Hello Scooter, try:

[a1:a10].clear

Edit: Sorry, I didn't follow. What is this menu, a button? Why not hide or delete it? Deleting the code might not be a bad idea here as well...

If you're talking about Excel's native clear functionality, is protecting the worksheet a possibility?

Actually, I have already protected the worksheet, however I have a few cells that areMERGED and UNLOCKED that contain condition formatting. If the user selects the CLEAR/ALL from the drop-down menu, it wipes out all the conditional formating and cell formatting.

Thanks,
Skooter
