Hi Team,

Please suggest me the difference between vba.inputbox and application.inputbox?
what is the significance of both and in which scenarios we use vba.inputbox and application.inputbox?

Thanks
Vijay Sharma

Typically, I use Application.Inputbox when I want to validate for the type of entry given such as a number.

From the help file:
The InputBox method (Application.InputBox) differs from the InputBox function in that it allows selective validation of the user's input, and it can be used with Microsoft Excel objects, error values, and formulas. Note that Application.InputBox calls the InputBox method; InputBox with no object qualifier calls the InputBox function.
