How to get the difference between current and previous value in the same column in DAX

I suggest sorting your data correctly and adding an index field during ETL. After which, you may perform a LOOKUP on the table for index - 1 to determine the difference. There may be a better solution depending on how your model is setup and what exactly you're trying to accomplish though.
