Detail section in a Report

HI

I need to increase the size of the details section in a report. Its set at 55.6, when I change this to a larger figure I get an error message telling me the figure is too large.

Does anyone know how to increase this please?

I have a very large database detailing information about Parishes collected from a survey.

I want to create a report which will list all the fields for one parish within the details area of one report.

At the moment I have made the font and spacing between items as small as possible and still have several fields which I can not fit on to the report.

Why not group some of the data?

Hi, not too sure what you mean.

I only know how to group eg all Males or all staff at X. Is there another sort of grouping. I can't grasp how this could solve my problem.

Hi, I'm not sure if this will help or not but if you are manually trying to set the height of some of the fields to accommodate a long piece of text, have you tried setting the 'Can Grow' property to 'Yes' and leave the field a normal size on ther report instead?

Thanks, but yes I have set the individual fields (where necessary) to Can Grow.
