Does anyone know how I might email a link to someone? Specifically, I'd like to be able to email a link to an internal network path/file that the recipient will be able to post on their desktop as an icon.

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Hi

Assuming your colleague has the same mapped drives as you, I would create a shortcut from the file you are interested in that now probably resides on your desktop.
Then attach the file in your email, browsing for the file under desktop, when you attach the file, it should end in .lnk showing that it is a link and not the actual file.
