Have come back to something I was trying to resolve months ago.
Link;
Using Indirect function to reference another Workbook using Named Ranges.

I have 2 Workbooks, “Primary” and “Source”
In the “Primary” book I have 2 Validation lists, the 2nd being dependent on the selection of the 1st
I have the 1st Validation List working (references a named range in the “Source book”)
But I’m struggling to reference/utilise my existing Named Ranges in the “Source book” for the “Dependent” list in the “Primary” workbook.
So let’s assume;
Primary WB is “Book1”
Source WD is “Book2”
A10 is the location/result of the “1st Validation list” selection in “Book1”
What I want is, A11 (being the “Dependent” list in “Book1”) to display the corresponding "Named Range" in “Book2”.

I hope this new/rephrased query has better response than the original?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
