Dependent Drop down data validation

Is there any way to create dependent drop down list for data validation without indirect function because indirect function is not working on my excel 2013. I have no idea why it is not working.. it returns the result as error.

It would have been useful to know how you are using INDIRECT for this. It should work in Excel 2013 as long as the arguments are correct.
Have you tried following the example at the following site?
