Deletion of excel lines starting from specific text

well, i had put some query few time back, but did'nt get usefull response. All i need to know that is there any way through which we can delete those excel rows which starts from some special text like: Molecular weight,G+C content, Length etc........... Actually i have an excel file which looks something like below......and i need the addition or sum of the data under Number column

Length = 10221 base pairs
Molecular Weight = 3117106.00 Daltons, single stranded
Molecular Weight = 6206947.00 Daltons, double stranded

Hi Vivek - just so I understand, for contig 1, you want to add 3117106.00 + 6206947.00?
