Hi everyone,

I tried to delete the unused cells , But couldnt find a option & tried to hide all the cells & it worked but . i want this to be saved in .csv file. After saving the same on .cvs file , the hidden cells are visible .

My query is there any option to hide or delete unused cells while saving in .csv file?

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Clear all unused rows and columns, then delete all unused rows and columns, then save, close and reopen the worbook. Then save as csv.

Excel doesn't export unused cells. If you follow the instructions, it won't.

You can put the workbook on box.net or dropbox and post a link, and I'll do it for you.

When I save that as csv exactly as you uploaded it, I get nothing extra in the output:

BTW, there is no need to hide unused rows and columns before saving.
