Deleting specific rows

I want to delete some rows that are identical. Aside from creating a macros to do this, is there a way to find a row with a specific criteria and delete it if value returns TRUE?

In the later version(s) of excel there is a Remove Duplicates feature under the Data Menu. Earlier versions can also do it using an Advanced Filter (where there's a checkbox for Unique records only).

An alternative approach is to add a column to your data table where you can write a formula for your criteria, sort by this new column, then delete the records you flagged as unwanted.
