I have hundreds of indivdual rows that I need to delete. They are common in the fact that the text in them is bold and also the first cell of each row is blank. Can I produce a formula to delete them all at once or do I need to select them individually?

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Do you prefer VBA for doing this?

If the first cell of each row is blank, perhaps you can sort the rows, then all those rows would be together and easy to delete all at once.
