Hi,
This ia tricky one to explain, but here goes. I have a spreadsheet that I send out to many locations, which the users fill and return to me. When some of them copy/paste information from another system a value is left in blank cells.
This value is not visible (as though the cell had been cleared using the spacebar) Although it does not affect the calculations on the sheet, it does cause problems with any macro usiing .endxldown. Cells at the bottom of the data are easy to clear, but this sometimes occurs in the middle of a column (with data that has to be retained in the middle) I have tried using

range ("f10") select
Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlDown)).Select
IF Stringlen=< 1 ClearContents

but this clears the wanted data as well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
