I hve spent days trying to figure this out. I used table formatting to create alternate row colors not realizing I was also creating a table. Now I cannot add rows or change out of the table format.I've read tons of posts about this and tried them all. The most common suggestion is to click on a cell in the tale and then choose CONVERT TO RANGE. This has NOT worked. I just want to convert my worksheet back to normal range without the table function. Is this too much to ask??!!

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
I have excel 2000 and cannot even create a table, help is no help, there is no table function on the insert tab
