Delay counter

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Sorry I did not explain my self.
What I need is for the number in a cell count up from 1 to 500 slowly ie every couple of seconds.
I may not be useing the correct code but it does work only at breakneck speed.

You can use Application.Wait

Code:
For i = 1 To imax
    Application.Wait (Time + TimeSerial(0, 0, 1))
    Range("A1").Value = i
Next i

Note, the value provided to Wait, is NOT how long you want it to wait. It is the time you want it to resume.
So basically,
Application.Wait (What time should I resume)
