Debugging formulae in Excel

Is there any facility in Excel (I'm using Excel2010), whereby you can look at part of a complex formula, and immediately see what value that part equates to?

Yes. Click on the part in question in the formula bar then press the fx button to the left of the formula bar.

go to formulas on the ribbon, then press "Evaluate Formula" , you can step through the formula there
