I query various web sites for sports stats on a daily basis and, particularly on a hockey site, they'll use (what DO you call them besides schwahs) non-English-alphabet characters- i.e. Vítek Vaněček
When I know about them, fine, but they have a tendency to add them to a player's name when they weren't there before and therefore not be pulled in by my query.
I'm guessing there's a way around that my muddled head isn't thinking of. I wouldn't know when, I wouldn't always know what I guess...
Anyone?
