Hi all! Hope you're all doing well and have an amazing Christmas (for whoever celebrates it).

I have an odd question now... More so is it ethical at first lol...

So I built a great sheet from the ground up that helps me and 2 others trade forex it gives ideas of trades. I feel though one of the other guys is possibly going to be a bit dodgy and either sell the sheet on or use it for things the sheet wasn't intended for we all agreed to keep it between us 3.

Now my question is... Is there a method of having the sheet lockable from a remote method if he does decide to set the sheet loose outside what's agreed or maybe a password that regenerates every week and is emailed to us all without manual intervention? That way if anything happens I can remove his email from the email loop so he can't access the new password.

Is this ethical? For protecting my works (which I've done off my own back no money exchanged) or anyone any other good ideas for protecting the sheet?

Many thanks!

Nick

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
You can "lock the sheet to "computer name" or user name.. to mac ou HDD serial nuber with VBA but.. it's excel.. someone will break it if it's really needed to..
