Hi Guys

Im looking for some help on a formula in a powerpivot to bring back the latest date for each Customer

I am currently using

=Maxx(filter(query,query[Customer]),query[Last_sale_date])

but doesn't seem to work

Any advice

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Is there a reason you can't use the LASTDATE formula? Is this for a column or a measure? If a column you can use the EARLIER command.
Code:
New Column =CALCULATE (
    LASTDATE ( query[Last_sale_date] ),
    query[Customer]
        = EARLIER ( query[Customer] )
)
