DAX - How to combine CALCULATE and ALL

Hello.

Situation:
I have 1 year's of monthly sales. I have a Pivot table in the following format

[Month filter = December]
[Product ID] [Sales for Month] [Sales YTD]


The [Sales YTD] function uses CALCULATE(SUM([Product ID], ALL([Sales for Month])

Complication:

September was a dodgy month with bad data. I want to exclude it from the [Sales YTD] calculation.

Question:
How do I do this?

* Could filter it out on the way into power pivot...?
* Do you have a calendar table?
* Why does your YTD measure look more like... an ALL time measure?

[Sales minus Sept] := CALCULATE([Whatever Sales Measure], Calendar[MonthName] <> "September")
