Is there a way of putting the date column into a matrix that is not a hierarchy,
I can do this using the date column from the fact table, but would prefer to use calendar table as I've gone to the trouble of making it,

essentially the left , which uses the calendar table to look a bit more like the right which uses the date column from fact table. I'd just like the date,
01/01/2020 or something.

Richard.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
To answer my own question ; in the visualization pane select the drill down arrow to the right of Date and select date not hierarchy,
but I shall be posting a follow up question, if I can't solve it soon.
