dates format

can anyone help me with making the date format all the same as they are inconsistent. i would like it in the form dd/mm/yyyy

 

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Google Sheets!!

You could use a formula like

Excel Formula:
=TEXT(link to your cell here,"dd/mm/yyyy")

Or you could select column C and then pick a format from the "Format" button at the top of the page.

thank you, however when i tried pick the format it gave me inconsistent dates forexample some dates started with mm/dd/yyyy and not the one i picked which was dd/mm/yyyy

No worries - you can see in column L of your spreadsheet the formula that I suggested.

This has to refer to an actual date, so don't get rid of the dates in column C.

But this should work for you?

I assume that all the dates that are in dd/mm/yyyy format are on or before the 12th of the month?
