I have the date as follows in three columns in individual cells

col A row 2 = 22

Col B row 2 = May

Col C row 2 = 2018

How can I get Tuesday in col D row 2 ( now I enter it manually)

Thanking you

Hi,

This would work:

Book1
ABCD
222May2018Tuesday
Sheet54
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D2=WEEKDAY(DATEVALUE(B2&" "&A2&", "&C2),1)

Presuming you want the "Tuesday" visible result in cell D2 to actually be a bonafide underlying date and not a text entry, in cell D2 enter the formula
=(B2&" "&A2&", "&C2)+0
and custom format cell D2 as DDDD
