Date Query

Hi, This is probably very simple, however I can't get it to work.

I have a date column with the dates entered as mm/yyyy, how would I enter a query to return all dates before a specified month and year?

Use a parameter in the query.

SELECT tblFldDates.fldDates, Format([fldDates],"mm/yyyy") AS Formatted
FROM tblFldDates
WHERE (((tblFldDates.fldDates)<[enter month and year]));

Change the table and field names to your own.
