I am building a front end application and want to share some of my data in charts. I'm having a problem trying to chart with date parameters. I get an error message that says something like 'the jet engine does not recognize [type beginning date] as an expression. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Depending on the query, you sometimes have to explicitly define the parameters. To do that, follow these steps:
1. Open the query in Design view.
2. Go to Query | Parameters. You'll get a dialog box.
3. In the first column, tpye the parameter name -- [Type beginning date]
4. In the second column, enter the data type -- Date/Time

Save the query and try again
