Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi,

I had typed up a whole response about how Excel stores dates as integers and you just need to format the cells to display the way you want... then I read your question more carefully!

This has a formula (probably there's a more efficient way but this works as long as your format is always the exact same) and 3 ways to format the result:

ABCD
18-Oct-29 0301
18-Oct-28 0925
18-Nov-22 1925
