Hello,

I would like to create a formula that works from the first date entered into a cell.

Scenario:

1st date is entered by the user. In another column, I would like the following month but it should start on the 1st.

Example:

User Enters the 1st date in the first column. The second and third column has a formula based on the date of the first column that displays the 1st of the month
3/09/18 - 4-01-18 - 5-01-18
3/13/18 - 4-01-18 - 5-01-18
3/19/18 - 4-01-18 - 5-01-18

I truly appreciate your support.

Thank you,

Elaine

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Let's say that the first entry is in cell A2

Then in cell B2, enter the formula:
Code:
=DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)+[COLOR=#ff0000][B]1[/B][/COLOR],1)

And in C2, just use:
Code:
=DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)+[COLOR=#ff0000][B]2[/B][/COLOR],1)
(you can see the pattern)
