Date format on access from SQL table

Hello

I have an access form linked to an SQL table with a column called AgreedDate. When I view the date in access it shows in the SQL format of yyyy/mm/dd. I would like it to show in UK format of dd/mm/yyyy however I can not change the format in access, I have tried an input mask however again this hasn't worked (this might have been me but I think I was completing it correctly)

Does anyone have any advice on how I can achieve this?

Can't you change the format in the underlying query or set the Format property of the control that's linked to the date field?

Not the input mask, that is for input.
Use the Format property on the Format tab of the control. Set it to Short Date.
