Date format Issue

Hi,

We are 94 in count and using same no. of machines. 50 of us get default date format as DD-MM-YYYY but rest 44 get the format mm/DD/YYYY in excel workbook. Now, my concern is to apply the same default format as MM/DD/YYYY in all the systems as we work for a USA client.

Issue: If a user with default format DD-MM-YYYY converts date into MM/DD/YYYY, date acts like a text and doesn't appear good while filtering out the dates. Also, same happens to the user with default format MM/DD/YYYY.

I tried to resolve it through All the possible settings up to my expertise. Please help.

Hi Daiwik,

Can you confirm if all of the machines have the same regional settings in Windows?

Also, what is the locale set to in the Format Cells-->Date section of Excel?
